Doctor of Chiropractic
Having graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in Biology and a minor in psychology and philosophy, Dr. Ali developed an interest in the human body, behavior, and movement. To further pursue her passion, she went on to study chiropractic at the New York Chiropractic College.
When treating patients, she focuses on the evaluation of the whole body, using movement-based approaches to patient care. Dr. Ali’s philosophy is to eliminate pain in order to return her patients to the activities and sports they love.
Dr. Ali implements a plan that addresses the muscular and joint function of the body using myofascial release, manual therapy, joint manipulations, and rehab exercises. She is particularly passionate about analyzing her patients’ movement patterns in order to discover the root of the injury, which often means looking beyond the area of pain. Dr. Ali uses the information she gains from her movement screen to tailor an exercise plan to get her patients back to moving pain-free.
During her spare time, Dr. Ali enjoys doing yoga and hanging out with her cat.
